Sales Quotes
The color of the indicators is determined in a manner similar to that of sales orders, with one exception: quantities from other quotes are disregarded. This decision is based on the understanding that quantities in quotes are often uncertain, and many quotes may not ultimately be converted into orders. When creating a quote, users can assess whether they would be able to fulfill the items if the customer approves the quote at that moment. It is important to note that if there are multiple lines for the same item number in the current quotes, all these lines are included in the calculation. To make things more visible, we have included the "quantity in sales quotes" on the Item Card:
Conversely, it's possible to specify whether the quantities in sales quotes should be factored into the determination of the indicators:
When the setting "Include Demand from Quotes in Availability" is set to FALSE, all quantities in sales quotes are disregarded in determining the indicator within the orders.
